Fred Wolking, age 64, of Westminster, Colorado, was called home on August 8, 2017. From a young age, Fred discovered that music was part of his life's purpose. Fred began playing the guitar as a child and continued to master the art throughout his life. Fred played nationwide with numerous bands, spanning many genres. He lived a life of love and was loved by many. He generously shared, taught and inspired this world with his wondrous gift of music. Fred was a blessing to all who knew him and felt blessed to have all of the people he did in his life.
Fred's greatest passion other than music was his family. He was a loving, wonderful husband, father, grandfather, Boppa, Pops, brother and Uncle.

Fred is survived by his Wife of 37 years, Marilyn (North) Wolking, children Sara (Wolking) Croom and John (Felicia Espinosa Wolking) Wolking, beloved grandsons Styles Croom, Benjamin, and Charlie Wolking all of the Denver area and his sister, Jacqueline (Wolking) Perrin & husband Dennis Perrin of Camarillo, CA.and many other extended family members and countless friends.
Preceded in death by parents Charles and Lucille (Adams) Wolking and dear brother Frank Wolking, all of the Florence and Canon City, CO area.

A celebration of Fred’s life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, 12:00 P.M. Bethany Lutheran Church. 4500 E Hampden Ave. Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113
