It’s hard to believe that it’s been a whole year since Heather passed – [actually eleven years ago Heather was changed forever by something we’ll never know and something she certainly didn't deserve]. Heather was a wonderfully spirited woman who blessed my life in so many ways. She was my best friend, my maid-of-honor, my confidant, my pillar of strength during a most tragic life event. Heather was a friend who would do anything for you. She never judged you but rather inspired you to reach higher, and was always a fan of all the people in her life. Spending time in the Washington Park area this summer for my son’s hockey brought forth so many wonderful memories – running in the park, the Turkey Trot, pre-Thanksgiving brunches (because Thanksgiving dinner wasn’t enough), our first triathalon, training for the MS 150, and so many more – all of which are so totally Heather-based. She blessed our lives with her positive, fun-loving spirit. All of the joy that Heather Joy brought to us lives on – and always will. Love and God bless you Heather
