David K Ryder, 75, of Denver passed away on 11/5/2017 in Denver.
Services will be held at 430 S. Quebec Street, Denver, CO 80247 on Tuesday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Paul Mauritz of The Little Ivy Chapel. Burial/Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to attend a reception at the home of Steve and Marjorie Ryder at 17082 Foxton Drive, Parker 80134.
David Ryder was born in Chicago Illinois on November 14, 1941 to Robert Ryder II and Helen Brower. He was a longtime resident of Denver, moving to the city in 1947. He attended Denver South High where he graduated in 1961. He worked as a Foreman for Burlington Northern Railroad for many years. He was involved in the Rocky Mountain Thunderbird club. He enjoyed carpentry, old cars, and collecting clocks.
David Ryder is preceded in death by his parents, Helen Brower and Robert Ryder II; brothers, Robert Ryder III and Gerald Ryder, grandson Brandon Ryder, nephew James Ryder & great-nephew Robert Ryder V.
David Ryder is survived by his son, Stephen Ryder (Marjorie); daughters, Sheri Krause (Lee) and Daviann Hodgson; grandchildren, Justin Ryder, Jessica Culmer, Scott Culmer and Cody Hodgson; great-grandchildren, Logan Ryder, Kara Ryder and Luna Bold; nieces & nephews, Karen Gantt, Robert Ryder IV, Richard Ryder, Terrie Russell and Kathleen Grenfell; great nieces & nephews, Allison Dillen, Rebecca Hughes, Leslie Norgren, Alicia Gardner and Katalyn Grenfell, four great-great nieces & nephews and sister-in-law Bonnie Ryder.

In lieu of flowers and in the spirt of the season the family suggests donating a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots at the Fairmount Welcome center.
