Obituary for Nathan Leon Wycoff

Nathan Leon  Wycoff
Nathan L. Wycoff- Retired Aurora Police Department
Born on October 31, 1931 in Scott City, Kansas, and passed away January 9, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. Nathan was the oldest child of Leon and Amber Wycoff. Survived by his beloved wife, Jeanine, children Terry Lindsey, Frank Serafine, Michelle Alberg, Gary Wycoff, grandchildren Steven Lindsey, Craig Alberg (Laura), Natalie Alberg and Katharine Russman. Also survived by great grandchildren Madison, Abigail and Lydia Alberg, and brothers Thomas and Charles Wycoff. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Betty Boxler (Gene) and Margaret Hill (Burt).
Nate served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, followed by 25 years with the Aurora, Colorado Police Department, retiring in 1982 with the rank of Division Chief. He was a longtime Aurora resident and will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
