James Paxton Albright, died Saturday, April 7, at the age of 93. He was one of our last surviving WWII veterans, and although he rarely spoke of his military service, he was always very proud of it. Jim is predeceased by his first wife, Betty Albright and daughter Jackie Webb. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Albright; sons Ron (Kathie) and Jim (Barb) Albright; daughters Karen Brown (Ralph) and Jan Davidson (Richard); and stepchildren Al (Rae) and Steven Springer, and Cindi Betz. He was also the very proud grandfather of Jamie Enfield (Doug) and Ryan Albright; Lyndsey Albright (Mike Miller) and James Albright (Erin Chavez); Amy Roberts (Edgar Matute) and Lisa Roberts; Joel Harris and Josh Harris (Stephanie); and Jon Webb (Rachel), Ben Webb (Sarah Mizak), and Chris Webb. He was the great-grandfather of Gavin, Cooper, Lizzie and Melanie Enfield; Max and Leo Matute; Maya, Brady, and Grant Sprague; Sophie and Delaney Harris; Logan Harris; Avon and Paxton Webb; and Amielia Webb. And, a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be Friday, April 13, at 2:00 at the Little Ivy Chapel in Fairmount Cemetery with a public viewing from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service. A reception will follow the burial.
