Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Larry Hovenga can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Laurie Hauser
Condolence: Larry was the nicest guy, and I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. He and my husband Jack Hauser used to hunt and fish together, and we were all friends of Dora and George. He was so sad to hear that my husband had passed in 2017, and we talked by phone several times after that. I know how much he loved his family, and he's reunited now with his friends.

Condolence: Larry was my dad. The message I'd like to share with all those who knew him, and loved him is that He was the most amazing father, role model, and grandpa!! As we all know his love for hunting, fishing, cutting hair, owning salons was what he was great at!! He loved every minute of these. But what he was most proud of was being our dad, and Nicholas and Peyton's Grandpa!! His grandsons loved him so much and will always remember the life lessons he taught them. Dad,I love you all the way to Iowa and back a million times!!Thank you for being our rock!!

Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
